The performing arts live in breckenridge!

The world of snow art returned to breckenridge with the 20th annual Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championships. The event draws artists from around the globe and transforms the Riverwalk Center into glittering sculpture park before tens of thousands of spectators. The Championships receive extensive coverage from regional and national television, magazines, newspapers and travel writers, and is hailed as a signature event that is uniquely Breckenridge.

Founded 20 years ago by Rob Neyland and Ron Shelton of Breckenridge Associates Real Estate, the Championships invariably turn out a world-class field of entries, and the competition is quite keen. While yours truly and the Home Town Team (including partner Tom Day and rookie Keith Martin) did not make the podium this year, we were pleased and inspired with our sculpture “String Theory”, which celebrates the universal thread of music that connects us all.

It is our honor to continue to represent the Home Town Team in this fragile and fleeting artform that Breckenridge has become famous for.

about:  Rob Neyland

Rob practically grew up in Breckenridge. His family built a chalet in 1966 on the (then) edge of town. Except for 4 years attending the University of Colorado, he has been in Breckenridge since that time. A Realtor since 1979, Rob has proudly been associated with Breckenridge Associates for 15 years. He is assisted by his wife and partner, Debbie, also a long time local and Broker. They feel this gives their clientele double the efforts with a well balanced team. Rob is a lifetime skier and sailboat racer on Lake Dillon.
